St Regis Bali Resort Suite (Nusa Dua)

The staycation at St Regis Bali Resort has been nothing short of magical and amazing! Flown over to Bali on Tiger Airways with Averie the weekend before the semester officially starts - thank goodness for the much-needed last minute breather before academic mayhem breaks loose.

Much thanks to Expedia for this staycation and airport transfers, making this trip really convenient and fuss-free! :) Expedia works with 400 airlines and 240000 hotels globally with a Best Price Guarantee - which means that it will definitely be the cheapest travel package that you will ever have. I love how the whole resort's setting is so carefree yet meticulous to a tee. The reception area is open-air, with light breezes from the beach and overhead ceiling fans. It's definitely more comfortable than being in an air-conditioned room with natural winds.

We were greeted with a welcome drink and a fuss-free resort suite registration, before a short guide about the resort's facilities and their locations. The light fragrance of lily and jasmine flowers waft around the resort - giving an extra dosage of calmness.

At the resort's lobby, a pair of musicians play away at their traditional Balinese xylophone instruments merrily all day. Oh man, how I miss them. They play in perfect synchronization with one another!

From the resort's lobby, descend from the stairs to walk straight to the pool or private beach area, but turn left to the suites. Here is a mandatory corridor shot!

The St Regis Bali Resort Suite is much larger than I thought- with a living room, bedroom, walk-in closet, bathroom, and balcony. The room is air-conditioned and so comfortable, I don't ever want to leave the plush bed and just laze around all day. It's like you just turn into a really, really happy pile of lazybones the moment you enter here.

The living room! The two brown cushions on the couch is so fluffy! Even though there are already three pillows each on the bed, I pinched another brown cushion from here and surrounded myself in clouds of pillows. Close my eyes and it's a little closer to heaven.

Here is the walk-in-closet! For mirror selfie shots ;)

The balcony, which oversees most of the resort's greenery and in the distance, the private beach (about 100 metres walk away but within resort's vicinity).

Ending with a selfie for now... it's getting late, I will post another entry with all the food photos from Bali :D Good night y'all.
