Taipei Day Itinerary 4 - Museums of Taipei

One man's meat is another's poison. Museums, with the very same exhibitions, could excite or bore. In any case, National Palace Museum should be the place to visit because even the most uninterested visitor will be blown away by the beauty of their collection. Photography is disallowed in most parts of the museum. If museum-hopping is the thing for you, read on! Before you launch headlong into the exciting planning of activities, remember to equip yourself with the 9 things you need to know when touching down in Taipei.

This museum is huge and often full of tourists. Allow at least two hours (excluding transport) to have a meaningful time here! The displays are spectacular and culturally rich, wow yourself with the extensive collection of treasures from Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. The extreme detail on the displays is particularly impressive. Very recommended to go!

There are timings for IMAX & 3D theatre shows, so check it up before going or you might overshoot the time you estimate for this attraction. Cosmic adventure might come off as little childish, but I have to admit it is still great fun!
