Sydney: Shinara Korean BBQ

Best value for your money around the city.

Sydney: Shinara Korean BBQ

Sydney is a pretty expensive place to be, especially if you're hunting for food in general... let alone to calm a raging buffet craving! After scouring streets around the Little Korean Town of Sydney, we finally found Shinara Korean BBQ, the restaurant that appears to offer the best value for what we can get. The main restaurant area is on the second floor, and there was a really extensive selection of buffet items at Shinara.

Overlooking the rather curt but efficient service, the experience at Shinara's Korean BBQ was pretty awesome. There were so much meats and they were all sizzling, well-marinated juicy slabs that were very good. The prawns were troublesome to deal with, but they were so delicious that I simply powered through them quickly. I don't normally praise Korean BBQs but this was really quite an enjoyable one. If my memory did not fail me, we paid AUD29 each for this buffet, which was quite pricey, but relatively reasonable as compared to the other Korean BBQ prices along the same stretch.
