Something regular yet special. Industrial and minimalist. There is a slight hint of grimy oily fumes in the air from the kitchen where delicious burgers are being flipped and put together. Then, we reached for some of those burgers in this twenty-seater joint, South Bronx Burger.
The burgers here match the ghetto vibes of this place, with rich buttery and hot-toasted buns for all their burgers. The Lemongrass Prawn Burger (SGD11.90) is stuffed with a juicy aroi lemongrass prawn patty, mango red onion coleslaw and green curry mayo, which was very appetizing. I finished it quickly with space to spare, scoffing down the truffles fries (SGD9.50) which was not particularly good. Tokyo-inspired Umami Burger (SGD11.90) is made with their homemade beef patty with miso mushroom, bonito flakes and mayo which was quite good as well though I prefer the Lemongrass Prawn Burger.
