Out of all the different coffee roasters in Singapore, my ultimate allegiance lies in those from Toby Estate's... but you really don't have to travel to Robertson Quay to have a cuppa from the original cafe when Providore has it, right here in Tangs Orchard. It's such a marvelous feeling to recollect that beautiful taste, especially right in town and if it's next to your office or shopping hunts, too.

My hot mocha comes along with some pretty neat latte art and soothing comforting tastes of coffee and chocolate that I would swear by. It's slightly less acidic or bitter than the brand of Toby's Estate ones, but still has the characteristic touch that I can't describe too well. It's a unique blend that struck a chord with me like no other. I don't spend my money on too much things but one of them is $6/a cuppa. It is too irresistible so yes, that's probably an addiction... one that I don't mind. Providore's iced mocha is also said to be one of the best in town too. Definitely a good stopover if you're tired from all that shopping.

Their Double Chocolate Valrhona Tart is extremely rich and tantalizing, paved with intensely luxurious gourmet chocolate in a dark chocolate crust. Every bite felt like a pilgrimage made to Charlie and his chocolate factory, without compromise on quality at all. The raspberries are also mildly sweet and juicy, surprisingly as I thought they'd only serve as garnishing. It might look small, but it's more than enough even for two people because it's very filling.
